warm up 1 - start with a short 5 minute game of steal the bib. Each player is given a bib in which they tuck into the back of their pants, leaving enough out for other players to be able to grab. They then must try and steal each others bibs, whilst trying to protect their own. This encourages the player to get their feet moving, igniting their fast twitch muscles, as well as effectively warming up their muscles.
warm up 2 - the second warm up is completed with hockey balls and involves the players partnering up. they will stand facing each other about 3 meters apart, behind two cones, which are placed 1 meter apart. they will then drag the ball left, along the cones and make a pass to their partner. The partner will drag the ball left and make a pass as well, repeating this action, which will create a square.
