DESCRIPTION

Setup as shown, or can also be done in groups of 3 or 4 in relay style.

Pass the ball to partner's forehand using a forehand push. See how many passes you can do in 45 seconds. Give tips, then repeat.

Progression:

1) See if you can score against your partner.

2) Coaches or players stand in the middle and try to block passes between partners. 1 coach for 2-3 groups. Players should look up and pass at the right time.

COACHING POINTS

Push Pass: Step, Drag, Push. Finish with stick pointing at target.

Push past opponent's left foot.

Receiving: Move Feet, line up stick, cushion the ball. Remember, the lower you go the more tired you get!
