- nr 3 tries to score in red goal
- if nr 1 plays ball, nr 2 start running, comes into turf by rounding the blue cone and help defending the red goal.
- if nr 1+2 get ball, they can score FAST on the goalie (nr 3 defend)
- ROTATION 1-2-3-1
EXERCISE 2
Goal: teaching press principle
- nr 1 outlet to nr 3.
- nr 3 (half) + nr 5 (right mid/inner) try to score on midline
- nr 2 forces outside, nr 4 defends line and help, nr 6 takes man nr 5 if he runs into center.
- if 2-4-6 get ball, they score on goal, but only nr 1 can score!!
Press principle:
to “lock” other team in corner + create defensive overload free man/ midfield
How to force attacker to where you want him to go
- choose where you want attacker to go
- make sure you close of the side you don't want him to go by:
1. standing = position on that side (which means not in front of the ball, but on a side of the ball)
2. hold you stick ready to defend any ball who comes to the side you don't want him to go.
Patience!!! do not over committ and try to get the ball if the attacker goes to the side you want him to go. Just let him go, hold your stick on the side you don't want him to go
