The idea is to further develop PUSH-PASS skills
Goals in first 5 minutes:
- must go to forestick of opposite player
- ensure proper footwork (players should not be standing in one spot and not moving around)
- proper technique in push pass (foot pointing/shoulder pointing correct direction, and follow through with your stick in the same direction).
Each player should have a ball each by the end of this drill!!
Harder skill level: U11/13 players may also implement a gate in the middle to give them guidance as to which direction they should be facing and hence where the ball should be travelling. The U18 players must use the 2-touch technique - one touch to receive the ball and get control, the other to push the ball.
This drill should be made fast-paced!!
