Drill designed to train outletting through the back four to the high forwards leading into pockets up the field
A- 1st striker passes back to the midfielder then arches his run to receive open on the run then has a shot.
B- 2nd striker passes back to the midfielder then arches his run to receive open on the run theh has a shot at goal.
The above is done whilst the back four players are transferring the ball around the back.
As soon as the 2nd striker has his shot, the defenders then look to play the ball either into the outside midfielder on the 1st side or on the 2nd side depending on where the ball is in the transfer. This creating a 2 v 1 between the outside back, outside midfielder and the opposition defender.
The forwards lead into the space to attempt receive the ball high up the field and attack the goals.
