Keepers Rebound

Great site. An absolute must for coaches who are willing to change...
Ignatius

DESCRIPTION

Ball is played into the keeper easily to get the exercise moving.  Kepper then needs to get ball past attackers and scores each time they do.  Attackers have to stop the ball and score.

COACHING POINTS

  1. Ensure ball stays low and backboards are the targets
  2. Make attackers have two touches
  3. Ensure no hitting at keepers point blank
  4. If keepers log then they need to recover and bounce back quickly.
  5. Attackers should aim for the corners and keepers should aim to clear wide.  Set attackers to leave a wide option for the keeper to score.
