Focus on the transition of running with the ball to striking the ball. Think about the presentation of the ball based on where the players want it to go. Also work on body position and angles to create the shot. Hit from the top of the circle and promote the hit rather than a slap.
Progress to shooting using a reverse stick shot and eventually take away the cones and make the drill 1v1 in the 5m zone.
Promote shots on target and all rebounds to be gathered before ball leaves the circle.
