Players get into groups of five. One person starts in the middle with the other four forming a diamond around them. One of the players on the outside starts with the ball, passes into the player in the middle who deflects it to the next player on the outside in a clockwise direction.
The angle of the stick is very important when deflecting, and determines the direction the ball will travel in. Ensure all players understand how to control the direction of the deflected ball before setting up the drill.
