- groups of 4 - pushing ball over small distance (few metres)
- each player starts at red cone then runs to blue cone to receive the ball from the previous player
- move ball around blue cone & pass to next player
- players pass ball around square, each running to front (blue) cone
- start receiving from left side (anti-clockwise) then change to right side (clockwise)
Alternative: no cones; change direction; reverse stick side (Flat 1 or 2 handed)
- focus on ball whilst receiving to ensure contact is made
- sideways
- weight transfer front foot (left) to back foot (right)
- if receiving from left & wish to move/pass to right, cushion ball as it travels across body until its on the strong side
- player must have pre-scanned before receiving to enable them to adjust body positioning correctly
- keep stick in contact with ball & cushion as it crosses body - allows more control
