Two teams vs one team on defense
One of the two teams is positioned outside of the grid while the other is inside
The two attacking teams retains possession as long as possible
Once defending team loses the ball, they look to play a player on the outside
Once the ball is played to an outside player, that team enters the grid and previous defending team becomes outside team
The previous attacking team on the inside becomes defense
Make sure team inside is utilizing players on the outside
Cannot pressure outside players
Communication is very important
A player on the outside may lose possession and the attacking team on the inside will have to pay the price of becoming defense, just remind the players that in the game, one player may lose the ball and the rest of the team will have to pay the price
For example, a forward loses the ball resulting in a counter attack. The forward cannot keep up and the defenders end up paying the price
