Initial warm up - no threat to ball

DESCRIPTION

  • Teams of 6 or 7, working the ball from one end zone to another
  • No threat to the ball
  • Using full space to move the ball, short and long passes
  • Either dribble into end zone or pass ball for player to run on to (treat as off side line)
  • Quick combinations and passing to get ball up to other end quickly
  • Composure on the ball and look up (get quality)

Progressions (every 3 minutes to build up)

  • Add bounce pass (1-2) from end zone to restart movement to other end
  • Use other players as targets to try wall passes to get around
  • Pass into space (not always to feet)
  • Switch play
  • Must have 2 in middle third from each team
  • 1 of the players from the middle third must be the ones receiving ball in final third (but keep above condition going)
