Three red zones and three white zones marked out equally with cones and spread out across the pitch in a 40x40 yard area. Drill time: Approx 20 minutes.
Split the group into two equal teams.
Game: Each player has a ball and dribbles it around the whole area. Players must dribble into a zone and perform different ball skills for 30 seconds once inside the square.
Any player that doesn't get into the square must continue to dribble until a square becomes available.
Progression 1: Reds play against Whites and try to score in the White squares while Whites try to score in the Red squares. 1 point each time a team gets into an opposing team's square. Team with most points at the end is the winner.
Tactical: Keep looking up whilst dribbling to see if a square has become available.
Technical: Dribbling with both feet, skills and turns practice.
Physical: Balance and agility.
Physcological: Concentration.
