Start off with s 38 X 20 rectangle with 2 channels at the top and bottom. Split the teams into 2.
To start off with, give each team a ball and have them passing around the rectangle between themselves. This gets the players used to the size of the rectangle and used to having 2 balls on the pitch.
Progresssion: Players can now drop into the channel. As soon as the players drop into the channel, communication must be made and the ball must be delivered to the player who has dropped off as soon as possible, but must not be rushed.
Progression 2:
When a player drops off and is set to recieve the ball, a support player must follow the ball and when the player who has dropped off has recieved the ball, he must play it to the support player and then drive out.
Small sided game - Remove 1 ball so there is only 1 ball between the 2 teams and give one designated channel to each team with a target man in each one. Players must try get the ball into this target man. Once this has reached the target man, they can then change players but ball must be given to opposition.
