Working between 2 cones approximately 20yds apart. Player one dribbles forward towards the other cone. Player two back-pedals keeping in front of player 1 but not tackling in order to focus on the skill of tracking the player and watching the ball.
This can be prgressed to racing. Player 1 dribbles as before but when the coach shouts 'go' they both race to the cone player 1 is dribbling to, defender cant run in front to block attacker. Change players round so that they all have a chance to do both dribbling and tracking
