Coach pass into 6 by 6 box.
Version 1: Player 1 sprints into box to receive and control the pass in the box.
Version 2: After controlling the ball, player 1 passes through gate as player 2 sprints to receive through ball. Player 1 after passing, sprints to receive ball through next gate.
Version 3: Add a defender to add pressure to player 1 after trapping ball.
Version 4: Depending on players participating to minimize waiting make through pass gates down 1/2 length of field.
The key is always maintaining control of the ball. The passes into the box should progressively get difficult until confidence is obtained and then pressure is added.
The passes are to be crisp and accurate.
Then build on speed.
