DESCRIPTION

Organisation:

  • Area 20 x 20m
  • Each player has a ball
  • 60 seconds to knock out other players footballs, protect your own
  • When your ball is knocked out, retrieve it and join in again

Activity:

  • Encourage players to get on ball and dribble
  • Encourage players to use different parts of the foot to dribble
  • Introduce commands Stop, Step Over, Turn
  • Maintain control over ball
  • Shield ball at al times under pressure
  • Build up speed of game gradually
  • Players use change of direction and speed to evade players
  • Players try to look for free space
