DESCRIPTION

Organisation:

  • Place 6 balls in a storage area, 10-15m from each players
  • Split players into 3 groups of 3 players per group
  • Only one person per group can go at a time
  • Only collect one ball at a time

Activity:

  • One player on each team starts on coaches signal
  • Player runs to storage area and collect a ball and brings it back
  • Once ball is back in the area next player goes
  • Keep going until all balls are removed from storage area
  • Encourage players to use all parts of both feet to dribble the ball
  • Players start from different stance each time
  • Select different ball mastery techniques to get the ball from storage area
  • Encourage players to change pace
  • Use cones /poles/ladders to develop the players ABC's
