DESCRIPTION

  • Area:32x20m
  • End zone 6m each
  • Goals 2m apart
  • players 1 defender
  • Players A and B link up together with passing and moving the ball
  • Player C then creates space and players A or B give a forward pass to C 
  • They must only score or dribble through the cones unless player C has had the ball
  • The players will be rotated around and players on the outside will be coming in and out

COACHING POINTS

  • Looking up
  • Creating space
  • Getting into a good position
  • Passing around the grid must be right
  • Using the inside of the boot
  • Head up to see the pass to player B
  • Pace and accuracy of the pass
  • Progress it on to 3v2 and then 3v3
