In this game, you need a batsman who can hit a stationary ball or have a coach feeding or a bowler bowling.
Fielders are placed around the field as well as two circles (depicted by the yellow and green cones).
The batsman hits the ball and sets off for a run towards the other set of stumps.
If the ball does not cross the yellow circle, he attempts only one run. The fielder stops the ball and attempts to run the batsman out by throwing the ball at the wickets.
If the batsman is already safe, the fielder throws the ball to the coach or bowler instead.
If a ball struck by the batsman crosses the yellow cones but not the green cones, the batsman must attempt two runs. Fielders must try and run the batsman out by throwing at the correct set of wickets.
Each player gets a certain number of shots and runs are kept. Rotate the players so everybody has a turn to bat.
You can add more coloured circles and more runs for the batsman to run if the ball crosses those circles.
