Very basic drill to get the players hands warmed up and used to catching the ball.
In a 'loaded' position (Knees slightly bent), to begin with, players should simply underarm throw and catch the ball to their partner.
After 30 seconds of this, one hand should be placed behind their backs and the ball should be caught with one hand. Ensure both players are using the same hand so that the ball is going diagonally. This should be done for 30 seconds on each hand.
Then go back to two hands, using harder, lower throws.
To add some competition, players could be told the first group to win sets a forfiet or something along those lines.
