Jump Stop Shooting then a race:
SET-UP: - Place 6 pancakes around the court (look at the orange cones in the diagram)
Begin the drill: (demonstrate it first)
- Place 6 mats around the court (look at the orange cones in the diagram)
- 3 players stand behind each mat with a basketball. When the whistle goes, the first 3 in front of each line dribble to the pancake in front of them, stop (important for them to gather themselves) then shoot from the pizza, collect their ball and join the back of the line.
- After 2 minutes, make the drill competitive - the first child to score the basket gets the point for their team if you AIRBALL you -1 point. Count points, and play the first team to 10 points.
- Keep track of how many points each team is on.
- Stay under the ring to help assist in rebounding the ball
