Stationary Dribbling Warm up

As someone who is new to coaching this site was just what I needed,...

DESCRIPTION

Give each players a spot to stand with ball each. 15-20 second each hand. 

Drills to do

  • Left dribble (low, waist, shoulder)
  • Right dribble (low waist, shoulder)
  • Crossovers 
  • Figure of 8
  • Behind the back
  • Between the legs
  • In and out 
  • Two ball dribbling 

 

COACHING POINTS

All players must be reminded when dribbliing, use their finger tips and not their palms for better control. 

As much as possible, look up when dribbling.
