Rob the Nest
Children are standing on a pizza with a basketball in their hand. Every child is given a number and must remember it. When a child’s number is called they must dribble their basketball and collect 1 cone from the nest then place it next to their pizza. Children keep collecting as many cones as they can. (can only take 1 at a time) When there are no more cones left in the nest, players must individually count how many cones they have collected and tell the coach.
VARIATIONS:
- Placing the cone in their head like a hat and dribbling the ball back without dropping the cone. (forces them to keep there head up when dribbling)
