Basketball Drill Demonstration

Description

Each player gets a partner and lines up on one of the cones facing each other. The players then perform a chest pass and bounce pass to each other. Add in a competition to complete most passes in 1 minute to motivate class

Coaching points

  • Keep eyes on passer when completing the pass

  • Make sure fingers are spread over the ball to generate more power

  • For bounce pass look to aim pass around 2/3 away from your partner when passing and complete same arm extension as the chest pass
