I have thoroughly enjoyed using your site to help me with my coaching plans for my under 9's netball team.
I'm training for the State League/U17 tryouts next year and I want to know what abilities the really good GSs have, like clean breaking within the circle, high shooting goal percentage etc. Does anyone have any exercises/drills that I would be able to do by myself or with one or two people to build up skills like breaking? (Sportplan's drills are mainly based on coaching an entire team, and I can't supply that many people to train with me %3A( ) Thankyou in advance,Belladonna And nice to meet the netball lovers on this site %3A) I don't have any friends who love netball as much as me...
I would love to become a netball coach but have no idea where to start

I have been asked to help select college senior and junior teams. I have never done this before so would appreciate ANY advice. I don't think the teams for the trial games have been set up yet. What's the best way to do this?
Hi there,Anyone got any good tips for someone who plays C or Wa? Anything will be good, anything that will help me!!
Do you have any suggestions for trials?
Hi, I am a 13 year old girl who plays netball every Saturday. I have been playing netball as a centre since I was about 9 yrs old. When I moved teams I changed to GA cause they needed a GA. I had also been playing basketball so when I moved into GA I shot like a basketballer. I only just recently started trying to shoot like a netballer, but it is't really working. Our GS is usually the player that shoots most of our goals but she broke 2 fingers and is out for the finals. I need some advice to help me to be a better GA and step up a shoot lots of goals to see our team go into the grand final.I need help learning to shoot better but my coach is young and plays defence. p.s. I am the only other shooter in my team.
Hi guys Iâm a Development netball coach. But my daughter is also playing U11âs Development for her association that Iâm involved in also. I donât coach her for several reasons.. My issue is that her development coach has really pigeoned holed her in WA for the best part of the season.. she is a very strong WA but she can play C, WD just as well if not better.. also these girls should be able to play/understand all positions on court due to player rotations in the normal teams. Itâs very hard to watch at times. Iâm not sure how to approach her coach or not. Or how to talk to her about it also without her thinking Iâm been awful. I have thought about speaking to our ADO... help me out Asked using Sportplan Mobile App
How do you beat a player that is blocking/face defending an attacker who is finding it hard to get free? Particularly when they are trying to go forward into the space for the ball.
