I'm looking for some drills for 3rd stage defending (denying space and then going for the interception) does anyone have anything for a session plan I'm doing?
I must training an 13 years old female player and I have to work wiht her very nuch in footwork drills,tehnical procedures,mental,general phisic,tactic,after my oppinion 3-4 month,but I have a big problem with her parrents,they think that their child will play a mutch better tennis if she playing in compettitios not made trainnig with me.What is your oppinion it this a good method to trainnig a child,after my oppinion this is a great trainnig error. need help planning 4 linked session plans for my group of girls age 16-18 mixed ability
My defenders often loose focus and try to concentrate on too much. They watch the ball, their player, where the post is, our player, there wings, put up wrong arms, run past player etc. Our drills are spot on, and training is generally very good, but when we get into a game they loose confidence, panic and and look like they are being turned inside out. They are 15/un Open.

I need some clarification please. In the goal circle if GS steps in towards the goal post and lifts her grounded foot, where does the defender defend from if the shooter stepped in before the defender lifted her arms? Is the 3ft from where her grounded foot was or where she stepped in to?

Hi all, currently passed my level 2 however still have ammendments on coursework , for my 4 linked sessions i have to include a game sense session. What a fantastic tool. The Chalkboard and session tools make an unbelievable difference in making training plans in both time and organization. I will be instructing all of my assistant coaches that this tool must be used for all sessions during the season, so that we may build a club coaching resource library.
