Can someone run through the best warm up stretches to do and should they be done prior to or after cardio warm up? This is for kids netball (10 and under)
9 players - 4 girls off half a game each week or 2 players off per quarter? I coach a 10 yrs team in a very close A grade competition. There are 9 players therefore 2 reserves are needed each quarter. Is it best to have 4 girls off for half a game each week, less disruption to team but best players are then off for half a game - girls are off every second week, or 2 girls off each quarter, more disruption but best players are only off for quarter of a game, girls are off every week. I am required to give all players equal time on the court throughout the season. Thank you.
Whats the best way to manage rotations with a 9 player team
My associate coach and I disagree on whether U/10s should play different positions or focus/settle on one, maybe two. I don't want to put the girls in a box at such a young age but I also don't want a Jack of all Trades situation. They are still developing so much that I feel I'll be doing them a disservice by just putting them in the same position every week. The assistant coach says if we move them around we're not going to do as well but that is where the participation vs performance comes in for me. Surely at this age development is more important than winning?No coach likes to lose but I don't want to win at the expense of them experiencing different positions. What do you guys suggest? I have just been given a team of 10 (10yo girls) to manage. As a parent who has not played for a number of years, can you point me in the right direction on this site for position selection for the game. It is an 8 week summer comp and the girls are happy to have a go at all the positions. They play a winter comp and have a proper coach. I have been asked to help as she is not available for this comp

Do you think that the girls should be allocated 2 positions only so that they get used to that position and save confusion. When they change position each quarter or half they get confused. Or at this stage should they be playing all positions.Thanks
Hi guys Iâm a Development netball coach. But my daughter is also playing U11âs Development for her association that Iâm involved in also. I donât coach her for several reasons.. My issue is that her development coach has really pigeoned holed her in WA for the best part of the season.. she is a very strong WA but she can play C, WD just as well if not better.. also these girls should be able to play/understand all positions on court due to player rotations in the normal teams. Itâs very hard to watch at times. Iâm not sure how to approach her coach or not. Or how to talk to her about it also without her thinking Iâm been awful. Hi I'm all new to Netball and coaching under 9's. We have 10 aside. Can anyone help in the best way to do a rotation form.At them moment I have a list with names and positions then each week I just move the name down to the next position so they play that position for the entire game and the resting players alternate eg with C or WD or GK each quarter. Are they the main positions to rotate with? Thank you for your time.

What a fantastic tool. The Chalkboard and session tools make an unbelievable difference in making training plans in both time and organization. I will be instructing all of my assistant coaches that this tool must be used for all sessions during the season, so that we may build a club coaching resource library.
