What is the best way to rotate 11 girls. Has anyone got a spreadsheet?
Hi I'm all new to Netball and coaching under 9's. We have 10 aside. Can anyone help in the best way to do a rotation form.At them moment I have a list with names and positions then each week I just move the name down to the next position so they play that position for the entire game and the resting players alternate eg with C or WD or GK each quarter. Are they the main positions to rotate with? Thank you for your time.
How do I rotate 12 netball players that keep everyone involved?
Any ideas on how to rotate nine players in an under fifteen years team (none of whom want to play defence)??
How do I rotate 8 girls for netball
My associate coach and I disagree on whether U/10s should play different positions or focus/settle on one, maybe two. I don't want to put the girls in a box at such a young age but I also don't want a Jack of all Trades situation. They are still developing so much that I feel I'll be doing them a disservice by just putting them in the same position every week. The assistant coach says if we move them around we're not going to do as well but that is where the participation vs performance comes in for me. Surely at this age development is more important than winning? No coach likes to lose but I don't want to win at the expense of them experiencing different positions. What do you guys suggest? Is there a system for rotating 9 girls through each position fairly each week
I have a team of mixed age girls from year 4 to year 5. 7 of the players are playing together for 2nd or 3rd season together with 2 of these players having low ball and motor skills. 3 of the players are in their first year, 1 of which demonstrates good ball and motor skills, the other two with beginner skills. What is the best way to rotate the players for games to ensure they are all developing? The section we are playing in does not require mandatory position changes at half time, although I have been doing this to develop their overall skills, is this right? Thanks in advance, Mel
what is the fairest way to rotate 10 players
Hi, I am coaching a group of 10yr old girls who majority have never played netball before. Am I better to rotate them in positions or let them get use to the ones that I allocate them too.. Also what are some good drills that I can teach them Defence or Attack... I have taught them the basics of passing, shooting but need help on alot of other drills... We only have training once a week in which I find hard because I believe they need more training days and we only have 2 training sessions to go till the season starts. Could you please give me some helpful ideas to help my girls understand netball and how to play netball without me having to put the pressure on them like as if I was coaching under 16s or something...

How to easily swap girls positions for spring netball comp - 9 girls on team
Our girls must rotate positions each quarter and then by the end of the season they must have played a set amount of quarters in each position as instructed by our Association. Our team has 9 players so 1 player will get a "full" game each week and two players sit on the bench each quarter. Does anyone have an excel spread sheet they use to help them keep track?
