I have thoroughly enjoyed using your site to help me with my coaching plans for my under 9's netball team.
Looking for drills to develop 'aggression' in players when there is a loose ball - ie. to 'want/own' that ball.
Should a goalkeeper, slow on her feet and reaction time, focus on defending her opposing shooter or watch the ball for an intercept. She is having difficulty doing both at the same time. She is playing in a 9A competition and is playing goalkeeper mainly due to her size? Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.
How do you advise your team as Coach when they come up against a rough and agressive team? What is the best way to cope with rough play. Thanks
What height should the post be for U9 and U11 netball?
I am coaching girls who are in year 8 high school, so around the 13-14 age group. It has come to my attention that there is one particular girl in the team who "lords" it over one other girl at school. Tells her things that she thinks she is doing wrong and basically criticises her style of play. The girl who is being picked on was so upset she did not want to train this week and told her mother she wanted to leave the team. How do I combat this?I have already had one session with the girls about being a team and supporting each other and being better people. It seems to have fallen on deaf ears for this particular girl...
I have 8 -10 yr olds and I would like an easy drill for getting in front and spreading out-please can you help Asked using Sportplan Mobile App
i dont have anyone to play with at home but i want to better my fitness and agility as well as working on some core exercises. what exercises would you suggest to do? thank you.
Hi, Do any netballers or coaches know if this drill could be used for attacking if you treat the 3 black Cs as only posts and the grey C drives into the space to catch the ball. just to practice running into space to receive ball?
Iâm new to coaching and have a team of 9 NetSetGo girls aged 8/9. While they have played two seasons already, they lack basic skills such as chest passing, shoulder passing, pivoting, etc.Does anyone have any helpful tips or useful drills which could be used to help teach the girls these skills. Playing ball off post from back line pass
HiCan a shooter rebound the ball( from a backline throw in) off the post and jump onto court, catch the ball from the post rebound and then shoot? It seems crazy to me but I have been told that this is now allowed?
My team recently played against a team where the GK would shake the goal post everytime our shooters would take a shot. She was not picked up for this at all, i believe it was an infringment, maybe intimidation or some type of contact. Can someone advise, is this a viable play, or is it an infringment. It was very obvious, she would only shake the goal post once the shooters had released the ball for a shot, not before so she wasnt leaning on it for support and she kept doing it and was never picked up
Can a GA or GS use the post to rebound the ball from a back line, if they ground their feet on court first? This has happened in a match at U13 level and I wondered if it was allowed or manipulating the rules to the extreme
What do you get pulled up for when you lean for support on the goalpost when the ball is in hand, and what happens Asked using Sportplan on Mobile
I had someone ask me if you are allowed to do this in a game. I thought if it was accidental it was ok but if it's on purpose and something they do regularly that shouldn't be allowed. What are the rules on this? Thank you.

Want to check that If the ball hits the ball net can they catch and try again and if it misses hitting the net they have to leave for another person to catch
Can the ball bebounced off the post of the pole when taking an outside pass in order to catch inside the court and what are the rules regarding this type of pass?
I am asking this question because every time I do netball everyone in my team always expect me to have an perfect shoot but I always miss just because I am good basketball that doesn't mean I am good at netball
