I have thoroughly enjoyed using your site to help me with my coaching plans for my under 9's netball team.
JUST WOUNDERING WHAT IS THE BEST AND FAIREST WAY TO PLAY NINE PLAYERS HOW TO ROTATE THEM , THEY ALL WANT TO HAVE GAME TIME
I'm managing a U9's team which has 10 players. I'm looking for a 9 player rotation spreadsheet that doesn't have anyone off for half the game and has people in at least three positions. I can find some but they either have people off for half the game or only playing 2 positions. I intend to roster one girls off each week (from experience having players only playing half a game leads to unhappy parents!). Thanks
I have 9 players majority with quite a good skill level and a few need of a bit more training. In terms of time on the court how would I rotate them? I usually leave the strongest side on and all players get 3 quarters and a few get the whole game. Is this fair or does anyone have any suggestions? I have always taken the best on approach - particularly when they are so driven on winning!
Hi allI was wondering what is the best way to rotate a team of 9. And so that they get to play every position throughout the season? Girls in year 3. And also so that they don't get easily confused.
I have began coaching Under 9's this season, we have played 3 games and I have kept the girls mostly in the same positions as my plan was to spend a few weeks in an Attacking Position, then a few in a defending position and then say the last 5 games in the area you are best at and enjoy the most. I was planning to change positions for this Saturdays game, but training has been cancelled due to bad weather. My question is, do I change their positions on game day with limited time to do any sort of game plan etc or do I just keep the same as the past 3 games? I know there is no right or wrong however I am interested in your opinions.
How domi deal with a player who does not attend training but yet wants to participate in league games. She is a good player but I feel she is missing out on training and how the whole team functions together and led eloping herself further. Also I have a player who thinks she is the best player in the team . She enjoys playing centre position which she is very good at. After half time I get her to sit out because I need to give ankther players who is totally as good as her to play centre as its fresh legs on the court, plus she gets a little tired playing centre. She feels she is capable of playing a full game and why does she have to sit out at half time. All the players are excellent players in the team therefore it's difficult to decide who to sit out and who to keep on??Please advise
Hi, I am the coach of an U11's netball team, and I was wondering if anyone had a roster or something to help with rotating a team of 9? I had it all worked out for 8 players but we've just had another girl join. Thanks.
Is it best to keep 14 years girls in same positon for whole game or rotate positions. If rotating what's the best way?
How to rotate players fairly with nine players but into specific positions
What is the fairest rotation for a netball team with 9 players?
HII'm coaching girls aged 10-11 with a varied mixed skill based some are highly skilled, medium and very basic. And its making it very hard in our transitions. Our association is very strict on player rotation and equal court time so therefore some of these girls just arent a GA, GK or C etc etc. I've tried my very best to even out the court balance to get the flow, but some of the girls just arent present which is making some of the other girls become frustrated. At training we stick to the basics so that everyone understands correct passing, footwork, attacking and defending. I also incorporate other skills and drills for the girls that do get the concept of the game more, but its just so hard with these girls. It's like i have 3 different skill levels in one team. Any tips would be great!!
need a schedule to rotate 11 players
what is the fairest way to rotate 10 players
Our girls must rotate positions each quarter and then by the end of the season they must have played a set amount of quarters in each position as instructed by our Association. Our team has 9 players so 1 player will get a "full" game each week and two players sit on the bench each quarter. Does anyone have an excel spread sheet they use to help them keep track?
Hello, are you able to please share your 8 player rotation? I've tried myself but haven't been happy so far, wondering how others do it?Thank you
