I have a trick I use during my cente pass. the centre?

I have a trick I use during my cente pass. the centre just places the ball on the ground after the whistle ha blown and then the WD comes up from behind and picks up the ball and plays. This has caused quite a stir and some umpires then punish my team. What is the rule and can we use this trick? Thank you! Ronel

How do you analyse a netball game?

Ive been watching recorded footage of our games (Div 1) and national series (ANZ Championships) and was wondering how I can analyse these games to teach my players how to analyse their own games by also viewing the footage?

How do you defend a shooter who holds space?

Would like some advice as to how to coach defenders to defend a shooter who holds to protect space?  Any advice would be appreciated.  Thank you.

Using stratagies in netball

Hi, i am predominantly a U12yrs coach but i want to transition in to coaching the high school girls. I love all these drills and session plans and have found them very helpful, but i am looking now for information on strategies used in netball eg/strategic positioning of players when changing from attacking to suddenly defending after a turnover, or when should the GA drop back . when to use a zone defence or side-on defence. All these questions that aren't covered by drills. Is there somewhere to get this info or is it just learn as u go. Thank you

Umpiring - how can I improve?

I'm starting out umpiring and find it so difficult. I know the rules and have no problem keeping up with play but find it hard to decide who fouled who or notice players going offside or all the other things all going on at once! When you're playing it seems obvious but from the side it's so much harder. Is it me and should I just accept it's not for me, or does it get easier? Any advice welcome.

Playing advantage then no advantage gained

If advantage is called by the umpire and then no advantage gained by the non offending team due to the ball being lost/intercepted,should play be brought back for a free/penalty pass depending on the infringement that advantage was called for?

Clearing out and re-attacking

I have a strong team of u21's who play brilliantly, except for running into one another space. Is there a drill which focuses on clearing out before re-attacking as a group?

no advantage taken by the team with the ball

when you call an advantage to an attacking team and no advantage had been taken due to the ball being intercepted etc. Do you call the play to come back as the team actually was disadvantaged and didn't receive any advantage from the infringing player

What a fantastic tool. The Chalkboard and session tools make an unbelievable difference in making training plans in both time and organization. I will be instructing all of my assistant coaches that this tool must be used for all sessions during the season, so that we may build a club coaching resource library.
