I have thoroughly enjoyed using your site to help me with my coaching plans for my under 9's netball team.
what are the best netball drills to teach under 10 year old
How do I get my goalies moving?
coaching u13s have 6 good players and 2 that this their first season. For this first half of the season most of their training has been catching and throwing .I find that they are not improving so on game days the other players are reluctant to pass it to them as they either drop the ball or pass it to the opposition.I am struggling to know what to do
My kids are 12 and they do not know how to move this always slows them down what do i do in training to get them to move?
I am trying to find a video of this skill to show players how to pass around strong over the ball long arm defence to avoid getting the pass deflected. Any links or ideas?
I have a strong team of u21's who play brilliantly, except for running into one another space. Is there a drill which focuses on clearing out before re-attacking as a group?
Hi there, I need help with one of my teams. They are u/12 and a very good side but I would love to get them to start playing faster. They tend to wait too long before passing the ball which in turn makes the receiver also wait longer before leading or dodging to receive ball. Any drills?Tx Minette

Hi I am a first year coach of a 9 and under team.My girls are struggling with the concept of running to space and receiving a pass on the move while advancing the ball to our attacking third. It seems no matter how hard i try to implement drills for passing at practice, come game day the girls still group together and call for the ball standing still. Any ideas/drills anyone could suggest would be greatly appreciated. Regards Mark
I'm coaching u/10's and have an excellent A team, but the B team have learners who haven't been playing netball so long. Does anyone have one or two basic activities, easy to understand (for them) which I can drill them with for passing, defending and getting free, as well as something for the shooters. They are always all over the place (we do practice channels) and really struggle to get free - they run a bit and then just stop to wait for the ball. Anything, even just some advice would be appreciated! :)
Hi, I have a lady in my team who keeps getting pulled up for footwork (dragging)! i cant get to many matches and she doesnt do it in training, i videoed a game to see what the problem was and it seems that she has a very wide landing stance when on the run, almost as if she needs to take another step, ive tried to encourage her (and done a drill) to land on outside feet and small step footwork patterns etc but nothing seems to be working! Has anyone ever had the same problem?! Any ideas?!?! Sarah %3A)

I'm an accredited coach doing some research on blocking as I had never had a player called for 'interference'. Is it within the rules to block your opponent from leading down court whilst facing her? The example is with my WD going out for centre pass, then blocking her WA (whilst facing her) to delay WA's lead down court. Of course my WD has her arms down and isn't contacting.Thank you Asked using Sportplan on Mobile
