I have thoroughly enjoyed using your site to help me with my coaching plans for my under 9's netball team.
what are some good ways for the WA to get free to receive the centre pass rather than always just sprinting?
Can someone give me some basic base line throw in set ups?
Attacking Centre pass - what are the best moves/strategies to use for adult teams?
Do you have any coaching tips/ideas for GA please?
My friend coaches an under 13s team and when someone has the ball they all run for it like seagulls going for bread. The coach has told them many times to spread out and for not everyone to run to the ball at once but the girls keep doing it and they can't get the ball down the court.
can someone please give me a definition for straight lead and double lead please. Thanks
My kids are 12 and they do not know how to move this always slows them down what do i do in training to get them to move?
After my opponent release the ball can I use my body but not arms to block in front of her so as to prevent her from going to the front?( In centre third) If the opponent just run ahead and crash on the defender, is it a contact?Or in fact the action of the defender preventing the attacker to run towards goal third is obstruction or a rule called" causing contact"?
Whats the best way to teach getting free to link up with Centre on Attack?
What are the best drills to train GS and GA timely movement in the attacking circle?
The lead & drive drill looks good but does not add the 2nd centre which would obviously be standing in front of the GA, with the defence either side effectively blocking the GA off from advancing forward or sideways - any suggestions?
I have a strong team of u21's who play brilliantly, except for running into one another space. Is there a drill which focuses on clearing out before re-attacking as a group?
Hi all I am desperately seeking knowledge of court spacing. I am the coach of a team of 11 year olds and I don't have much playing history to speak of. The girls are still at that point where they all seem to lead for the ball and crowd the space around the ball. My problem is that I don't know the theory around who should be leading and who shouldn't be. I want to gain an understanding of the fundamentals of team play myself - who should be hanging back and who should be going for the next pass. I have done the Australian foundation coaching course but it didn't seem to cover this area. I would love to see a video of a coach teaching young players this concept. Does anyone know of any books, blogs, youtube videos that may come in handy? Thanks to all, love reading all the informative questions and answers.
What coaching points should i use for the reverse pivot. I am do doing my linked session plans for my level 2. Thank you
Whats a good drill to help with coming infront of their partners instead of the immediate thought of dropping back for a pass?
Hi, my daughter is tall and plays GS. Her current coach keeps telling her to hold her position to stay by the post and not lead out. She is frustrated at this strategy as she feels she is not improving. What are your thoughts? Thanks Asked using Sportplan on Mobile

Single or double lead on attack drill for level 1
The lead & drive drill looks good but does not add the 2nd centre which would obviously be standing in front of the GA, with the defence either side effectively blocking the GA off from advancing forward or sideways - any suggestions?
