Netball: how to stop lob passes into the goal circle

We are playing in n a grand final this week and the opposition has a very tall GS and holds very well. I am thinking of getting my defences to double team her but wanting to know best way to teach this & also what's the best way of stopping the GA (just getting WD & c to try & block her getting in the ring) any thoughts on best way to beat a tall shooter. The girls are 13 but played a lot of netball. Thanks

Hi, my team is having issues breaking a defensive zone where the GD and GK sit high in our attack end and play an area rather than players, we tried manning up on them but just crowded the attack end and didn't work?  If we lob over them the other defender drops back and picks up the intercept, same when we pass to the corners.  Any advice will be gratefully received! My WD has worked hard on getting her placement so when the ball is feeding into the circle, she is keeping her WA away and to the side, generally the WA is fed an overhead ball heading towards the the back corner. The WD knows what pass is coming, and it's placement, she feels confident she could challenge more, so need some drills to practise holding her player, but then moving round her opponent at the last moment to try and go for the ball as well as holding.

What is the best way to intercept a lob out in mid court and also goal circle?

My teams is playing opposition this week who has a very good GD who is a master floater. Last time we played them we played into her hands and lost by 2 and I want to have a few tactics for this week.We also had a young player fill-in WA last time which didn't help as she was unfamiliar with our team. I was trying to get the players to look for our GA who was often free but I think she was playing too close to the goal circle which made things a bit crowded. I think also that once my players realised what the GD was doing, they started to hesitate on the pass.Our GS is reasonably tall and has a good hold so if we can get a good high pass into her before the GD can drop back that may help.Any other suggestions? I have two new shooters to work with in seniors, we have been working on circle rotations during the preseason. I'm now trying to get them to understand the importance of holding to receive the quick passes in from the circle, any suggestions?

How is the best way to defend a GS who is a foot taller than the GK and can hold faily well (and no exageration I have a very short team so putting a different defender wont change much )

I had someone ask me if you are allowed to do this in a game. I thought if it was accidental it was ok but if it's on purpose and something they do regularly that shouldn't be allowed. What are the rules on this? Thank you.

How do you beat a player that is blocking/face defending an attacker who is finding it hard to get free? Particularly when they are trying to go forward into the space for the ball.

We need to practice our goal line throw as an attacking thrown because ares is getting intercepted is there any pointers we can use

Does anyone have a drill to encourage under 11's to come forward for a pass rather than asking for the overhead pass all the time as they are 'running away' from the ball in their haste to get to the circle?

Next week I'm due to play against two really talented defenders who are both very tall! One of them use to be my coach so I'm feeling the pressure- she's very quick and can push you to the edge of the circle well. What would be the best way to outwit her? I'm younger so I thought maybe my speed and fitness but I mainly play GS so I feel like I need something else?Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
