Solo drill suggestions to improve my game?

Hi, I play netball frequently, but I am trying out for some new teams and I want to know of some good one player netball drills. I have a wall I use and a hoop. I don't really want to use the ring as much because I wanted to trial as a centre player, but anything is helpful.

How to get goalers to convert their goals.

What drills or training can you give goalers to do so their goals convert each time they shoot in netball?

Junior netball umpiring query about shooting.

Can someone please confirm the ruling on a goal scored at Junior level (net 9 feet), when the ball bounces off the post above the net, before dropping in to the goal. I presumed that this would not be allowed as a goal as it uses the post like a back board in basketball but was told by another coach that this was ok? Does anyone know the official ruling here? Thank you

Missed shot brushes the net only. Is it a replay ball?

An opposition shooter attempted a shot at goal but missed. The ball didn't even reach the hoop, it only brushed the net. She ended up catching the ball (on the full) and had another attempt at goal and got it in. Shouldn't the umpire have called a replay ball?

Need help to get started with school girls.

Hi. I am a welfare worker at a primary school and had a bit of interest with playing netball in our lunch break once a week. We only have one net so we can only play half court and we have about 10 players.I only know netball through my daughter playing every weekend otherwise I've had zero experience.Do you have any suggestions how to get the girls started? Most of them never had played netball or even seen a game!Thank you

Intimidation debate - GK blocks view with back to attacker.

I'm very new to netball having grown up playing basketball and rugby at high levels and recently was getting taught by a 'more experienced coach' as this is mixed netball and the dynamic is very different. He said to the men that to minimise being called by umpires for being too close as the height difference percieves they're, one tactic is to turn your back and to get up close and to stare at the hoop. He said if he were umpiring he wouldnt count this for intimidation as there no eye or physical contact, simply blocking some of their view. I saw one of the men try this in a match yesterday and the umpire called them for intimiation? I'm trying to learn the margins as it seems every umpire/coach has their own opinion of this. Thanks in advance!

Defending a shooter in the circle

If a WA is holding the ball on the edge of a shooting circle and is waiting for the shooter to move closer to the hoop whilst her legs are in a split position before passing her the ball then passes the ball to her as she is now closer where does the defender have to defend from.

Can a GK shake the goal post |...

My team recently played against a team where the GK would shake the goal post everytime our shooters would take a shot. She was not picked up for this at all, i believe it was an infringment, maybe intimidation or some type of contact. Can someone advise, is this a viable play, or is it an infringment. It was very obvious, she would only shake the goal post once the shooters had released the ball for a shot, not before so she wasnt leaning on it for support and she kept doing it and was never picked up
