What is the best way to teach a new girl how to shoot a goal? Is it 2 handed with ball above the head and arms stretched up?
I'm training for the State League/U17 tryouts next year and I want to know what abilities the really good GSs have, like clean breaking within the circle, high shooting goal percentage etc. Does anyone have any exercises/drills that I would be able to do by myself or with one or two people to build up skills like breaking? How do you teach circle defenders how to handle defending both shooters when GD or GK is out of play outside the cirlce?

Hi, I am a new A Reserve netball coach this year and wondering if anyone had a few set plays for a defense throw in, by this I mean a side line throw in or a base line OUTSIDE the goal circle. very hard. Hi, Wondering if any one can clarify the ruling for shooting partners screening in the goal circle? Our GA has screened effectively so far this season but was pulled by the umpire today when screening the GS? She hadn't contacted either defender, and was at 90cm distance, so we were left a little confused?? Is there a set distance they need to be away from their shooting partner?? She was told she was too close and a penalty pass given to the defender. Advice greatly appreciated %3A)

Hi there, we are in South Africa, and the Netball season is pretty much over until next year. What Drills and practices can my daughter do on her own to keep her eye and mind sharp? She will be in the schools 1st team next year if all goes well. This year she was chosen to play for the provincial team so we want to build on this achievement. She plays GA or GS and still practises her goal shooting but what else? Please help

Can someone please confirm the ruling on a goal scored at Junior level (net 9 feet), when the ball bounces off the post above the net, before dropping in to the goal. I presumed that this would not be allowed as a goal as it uses the post like a back board in basketball but was told by another coach that this was ok? Does anyone know the official ruling here? Thank you

What a fantastic tool. The Chalkboard and session tools make an unbelievable difference in making training plans in both time and organization. I will be instructing all of my assistant coaches that this tool must be used for all sessions during the season, so that we may build a club coaching resource library.
