why do you need speed in netball;
I would like to give my girls some extra training to do at home to help build up their core strength, arm strength, speed and balance on the court. Any suggestions as to what i can give them. They are 13 and are all keen for it. I just need something that they can do that lasts no longer than 30min and that they can do about 3 times a week. That way if training is cancelled due to rain they can still do a netball based workout at home.
Hi Everyone I've been playing defence for a long time now, and only last Saturday did I start to play centre. It was during our warm up on that day, (before our game) when my coach told me that I would be playing centre. I agreed to do it, but the problem was that the other team was a really good and very fit team. I struggled a lot durig the game, and i felt like i was dying the whole time! Also because I had never played centre before I didn't know how to feed the ball into the goal circle. I also don't know how to defend on the goal circle. How do you design a Netball pre-season screening assessment?
Does anyone have any tips or drills to help slow down the speed of a game? My 14b side are rushing their play and as a result silly mistakes are being made. I have looked on this site and tried google but cant find anything.
We recently chose the teams for netball at my school, i tried out for the junior pro team because everyone as in my team players say i'm good and that i will get in. But I did not get in i didn't get in the a's either im in the b's. I have the speed, i can shoot sometimes and I have really good defence. What am I doing wrong. netball is my life and I really want to get on the pro team because its the best and they travel to play netball and they play a lot of games which i love. Also after every game my right ankle aches and evrypart of my body aches, stretching doesn't help me what else should i do? Please help me find maybe what im doing wrong that the judges can see.
