I have thoroughly enjoyed using your site to help me with my coaching plans for my under 9's netball team.
Hi can u give me some ideas on how the shooters would feed themselves closer towards the goal. What i mean is by passing the ball in and out 2 one person and moving closer 2 the goal at the same time . Something simple for girls aged 10.
Does anyone know of a good drill to teach stepping around when passing the ball? I have quite a short player in my team who has trouble getting the ball round her opponents hands. We've been working on faking the pass as an alternative solution.
Hello, I'm just trying to do a lesson plan for twenty minutes for netball for 8/9 year olds with very basic skills and not much history in playing netball. Im not really sure what route to take to ensure they can do the task but still fun, and which element of netball would be best to start with? any suggestions much appreciated!!
Hi there, I need help with one of my teams. They are u/12 and a very good side but I would love to get them to start playing faster. They tend to wait too long before passing the ball which in turn makes the receiver also wait longer before leading or dodging to receive ball. Any drills?Tx Minette
Hello all, I have been coaching my u10's currently for 2 years now. They are a fabulous little team i.e. gs holds and defence box out etc however we are never winning games! They are currently playing up a year and after sitting back and watching what is going wrong I had noticed they all seem to be in one area so no-one can drive into a space to receive a direct fast ball. When this occasionally does happen the ball is not released fast enough and consequently intercepted! I was wondering if anyone has an tips on space, driving into space, and early passes! This team could be amazing if we sort this is out! Please help!!!!!!!!!
What are some tips on fast passing catching ? please
Hi, i have a group of 16 year old girls who are playing c2's this season, we have just made finals but will be playing extremly rough teams. the girls have done very well not to take it to heart and keep pushing. However they are so small and tend to get beat up by the bigger and much older players. im hoping for advice on how to play (esspecialy in the ring) around them, as they are too small to push back or hold their own ground. thank you :)

Hi There, My Daughter runs in very big steps, I think if she runs in small quick steps, it will be better and quicker to dodge her defender? Any thoughts and or drills to help with this please? Love this page!!!
I have a 13 yr old who struggles to pass off quickly and always looks for a better option. When passing in drills her passes are strong but in a game they are weak and inaccurate. What drills can work on with her to assist?
I have two new shooters to work with in seniors, we have been working on circle rotations during the preseason. I'm now trying to get them to understand the importance of holding to receive the quick passes in from the circle, any suggestions?
I have a player who tends to hang back behind her partner in games, and then tries to move into position to receive a pass. She signals that she is free but doesn't move quickly enough into position so often loses the ball.No matter how many times we work on this at training, when it comes to the actual games she reverts to her standard play but then gets upset when nobody passes to her. She is fast losing confidence as the other players on the team are all moving beyond her level and she is aware of this. Any ideas?
Whats a good drill to help with coming infront of their partners instead of the immediate thought of dropping back for a pass?
Hi Please help me, My Daughter played GS most of the time - last year the coaches played with her on several position in field, This year she plays GA but she seems to be taking to long to come open or she is to fast, and the defenders picks up on her movements and it's position overturned...
