Under 12's and just learning positioning. When bringing the ball out of defence the GD and WD tend to crowd the defensive half (always asking for the short pass or standing behind their players) then the GA, C and WA all try to come in and help but end up making it more crowded. Do you have any set position ideas or advice I should pass on to my players?
I have a low grade, 10 year old team (3 new players). I can not get the team out of the habit of bunching and standing with hands in the air. I have tried lots of things, some work, but they tend to revert back to bunching when the pressure is on. Can anyone suggest a simple solution.

we had two different umpire opinion's last game about the defender placing her hand on the ball to prevent the shooter from being able to shoot.one umpire stated this was contact and that the defender is not allowed to do this, but the other umpire stated that as the defender was the required 3 feet away she can place her hand on the ball

Hi,I am finding it really difficult to get one of my shooters out the habit of trying to shoot every shot from the outer edge of the circle with not a very good success rate. She doesn't seem to see or want to understand that a pass would be more beneficial, has anyone had similar issues or have any suggestions to get rid of this attitude and mindset. Hi Everyone I've been playing defence for a long time now, and only last Saturday did I start to play centre. It was during our warm up on that day, (before our game) when my coach told me that I would be playing centre. I agreed to do it, but the problem was that the other team was a really good and very fit team. I struggled a lot durig the game, and i felt like i was dying the whole time! Also because I had never played centre before I didn't know how to feed the ball into the goal circle. I also don't know how to defend on the goal circle. Any ideas on how to teach a senior team to cherish and convert turnover balls they create?
When a shooter steps in when taking a shot the defender does not have to move. Is this rule still current or have they changed it because on saturdays game my defenders were not moving when the shooter stepped in but they were being pulled for obstruction every time. Also if the shooter steps in and you keep your feet still but move your arm is this still obstruction?
I coach a team of U15 girls who vary in their ability. Our play from the baseline throw in is disjointed and the ball is often intercepted as a result. What is the best way to teach the girls to read each others play and operate as a smooth unit?

What a fantastic tool. The Chalkboard and session tools make an unbelievable difference in making training plans in both time and organization. I will be instructing all of my assistant coaches that this tool must be used for all sessions during the season, so that we may build a club coaching resource library.
