How do I teach my team to pass and then move quickly so that the opposition's defenders cannot intercept our passes.
What is the best way to defend a holding shooter. At the moment I am trying to get my Keeper to keep moving around the holding shooter, mixing up going behind and infront, so the feeder isn't 100% sure what the holding space is. Do you have any tactics for a goal keeper? just so that they can improve. So far they cant quite intercept all balls & judge where the ball is heading. any ideas for improvements?
I have found that my players worked well as a group and also really enjoyed a Quiz about Netball (both rules and history of netball in general)but I have run out of questions, I usually only finish our training sessions with one question for each member of our team and use any the following week that they got wrong so they are learning at the same time. If you have any ideas please let me know as I have searched the web and every other resource I can find, Some of the questions I have used are How many seconds can you hold the ball? How far away do you need to be before arms go up to defend? How is a short pass measured? Where does a ball need to be touched first after a centre pass? Name 2 examples of Good spartsmanship? Name the 7 Positions in a Netball Game How many players on a Netball court during a Game? (trick question, usually andswered with 7, keeps them on their toes) In which Country did netball begin? What is the Name of the Australian Netball Team? What time do we turn up for a Game on Saturdays? If you land on 2 feet while catching the ball, which foot can you pivot on? PLease help, I need more questions, we still have a long year ahead %3A) Thanks
Hi, i am predominantly a U12yrs coach but i want to transition in to coaching the high school girls. I love all these drills and session plans and have found them very helpful, but i am looking now for information on strategies used in netball eg/strategic positioning of players when changing from attacking to suddenly defending after a turnover, or when should the GA drop back . when to use a zone defence or side-on defence. All these questions that aren't covered by drills. Is there somewhere to get this info or is it just learn as u go. Thank you

Hi Please help me, My Daughter played GS most of the time - last year the coaches played with her on several position in field, This year she plays GA but she seems to be taking to long to come open or she is to fast, and the defenders picks up on her movements and it's position overturned... Hello all, I have been coaching my u10's currently for 2 years now. They are a fabulous little team i.e. gs holds and defence box out etc however we are never winning games! They are currently playing up a year and after sitting back and watching what is going wrong I had noticed they all seem to be in one area so no-one can drive into a space to receive a direct fast ball. When this occasionally does happen the ball is not released fast enough and consequently intercepted! I was wondering if anyone has an tips on space, driving into space, and early passes! This team could be amazing if we sort this is out! Please help!!!!!!!!!

What a fantastic tool. The Chalkboard and session tools make an unbelievable difference in making training plans in both time and organization. I will be instructing all of my assistant coaches that this tool must be used for all sessions during the season, so that we may build a club coaching resource library.
