I have thoroughly enjoyed using your site to help me with my coaching plans for my under 9's netball team.
I have never coached netball and it has been well over 20 years since i last played and that was a one off. I have found the drills on here and they a have been really helpful, The standard is not of highest and I think enjoyment is more important than turning them into a winning team, the ages are 8 to 12's. what I basically need is any advice on drills and basically any advice you have.... I am trying to refresh my knowledge of the rules which i have a very basic understanding of but would like to get a full list of all the rules, sadly money is a major issue and as i am volunteering to help keep the team going (as no one else can help) I was hoping there was a free source somewhere on line so i dont have to buy it!!! bad i know but Im already dipping into my empty pocket to get to the sessions. thanking you in advance Darren
I have a group of approx 20 people and I am looking for some tips how to plan out a session with some sort of game at the end? thanks in advance
I assistant coach a year 5 team who have horrible core strength and they can not do planks and apparently 'sit ups are too easy' and they can't do push ups. What can i do to give them more core strength??
Hi, I'm co-coaching an U13 team. The players are a mix of experienced, but mostly inexperienced players, with a couple of players who are really talented (these are two of our inexperienced players). All players are new to each other. The girls won every game at the district grading days and we were upgraded two levels. We are now in round 6 of the competition and the girls have lost every game and we just lost from the team that was below them on the ladder. We've had a couple of injuries and one was quite bad in round 4 requiring surgery which has shaken the girls as well. They are starting to lose heart and their game is deteriorating. How do we keep them motivated?
