Terminology and communication

Terminology and communication

I'm a development officer for a women's university football team where we get many different people from all over the world and we seem to struggle with communication and terminology as we say different things from where we are from I was just wondering if anyone had a suggestion on how best to tackle this or any solutions to help the team communicate better?

Hi Joanne,

You could try and do a couple of training sessions focused only on communication. You can outline the communication terms that you want the players to use and practice using them. This means that all your players will be on the same page and understand each other when it comes to a match. Here`s a good drill to use to practice communication.
