Players play the point out from their hand in a full court as normal.
If they win the point with a clear winner or by forcing an error from their opponent they get plus 1 point. However, if they make an unforced error of any kind, they get minus 1 point.
Players can play until 1 player reaches plus or minus 7 points.
The emphasis on the scoring system encourages the players to be more pro-active within the point, but also to do all they can to be consistent and not make silly errors on the ball where they are not under pressure.
In order to win the drill players must 'win' the points, as opposed to not losing them.
