In this drill, player works on control over the forehand slice. The doubles alley is a great target that puts emphasis on proper technique and mental focus at the same time. Players can easily self-correct themselves because every shot provides constant feedback about their accuracy. Coach should feed easy balls at the beginning of the exercise. If player makes the target, coach can make the exercise more difficult by increasing the pace of fed balls or by making player start further from the doubles alley.
