DESCRIPTION

Players perform warm up routines to prepare body for the practice.

The main theme of this session is serving, so the warm up exercises should be related to that tennis discipline.

COACHING POINTS

Because the session focusses on serving the coach should emphasise that the warm up should aim to warm up the muscles used while serving.

Throwing a ball to a partner or coach is a good exercise for the shoulders and arms.
