Hockey: Chip and go

Great site. An absolute must for coaches who are willing to change...
Ignatius

DESCRIPTION

Players dribble towards the line of cones.

When they are parallel to the cones they perform the chip skill and then run around the cones to regain control and the ball and continue running.

COACHING POINTS

You could set up several lines of cones to get players to practice this skill two or three times in a row (if you do this ensure you leave enough space for players to control the ball before repeating the skill).
