First get into pairs and do 5 quick warm up drills, these will include the following:
> Anywheres
> side to side
> travel forward then back
> jumping
> 50 chest passes
Once this has been complete, go through the square drill, do until perfect then progress onto the more developed square for people who understand. This involves coordination through passing the ball in multiple directions, then you need to time the runs in order to stay in time with your partner whilst retrieving the ball.
A good progression on this will be another timing drill. This consists of 3 ques, which feed onto eachother and focus on timing the run, and landing in a good stance for an advantage in the game.
Create a resolution to develop your coaching confidence by seizing the opportunity to discover new drills, turn ideas into action and seek advice from the coaching community.
