The LTA with Sportplan Ltd have developed 2 sets of interactive materials for teaching tennis in schools.

The resources are supported by Key Stage 1 and 2 and Key Stage 3 and 4 tennis teachers courses and the schools connections course which is designed to assist coaches who are working in schools.
Our prepared lesson plans give information on activities for each area of the lesson, class objectives, equipment needed, warm-up exercises, ABCs and main lesson content, a team game and cool-down. Most activities are illustrated with a video clip.
You can also select activities for each lesson segment separately and create your own lesson plan, including multi-skill activities, specific tennis activities and further team game ideas.
In addition you will find information on the game of tennis itself, including the rules and details of competition.
