I have attached a drill that you can adapt to practise the switch pass.

Key points are:

• Player with the ball must run straight and so should reciever
• When switching the reciever runs behind the ball carrier and then straightens up
• Ball carrier changes direction so that they are runnning towards the inside shoulder of the defender (and so committing the defender
• Ball carry turns towards the reciever and so screen the pass from defender
• Communication between the two attackers is essential! Reciever calls when to execute
