Playing straight shots?

I can pull the ball and cut it great, but I struggle to play straight defensive and offensive shots. This is leaving me to go out. Does anyone have any tips on getting the technique right?

It sounds to me you are used to 'bouncy' pithches where cutting and pulling is the first type of shot you learn. On 'English' pitches where the ball seams more playing straight is the first shot we learn. My tip%3A keep your eye on the ball until the last minute and play through the line. If the ball does seam and you nick it; that is just bad luck, it happens. However, be prepared to account for swing and adapt the straight accordingly.
